The Flamingo Cup is part of the Club Series—a regional race circuit with Snow King, Teton Village, Grand Targhee, and White Pine that makes ski racing accessible, affordable, and genuinely fun. No pressure, just a great day on the mountain.

But this race is about more than competition. It's how we remember Bruce Carlson.

Bruce ran our race course crew for years. He set up training courses, rigged the safety nets, kept the course smooth during races, and was always—always—the last one off the hill. When he passed in April 2012, he left a legacy that still echoes across this mountain.

You might hear "RPC—Always Faster" out there. What does it mean? The letters don't matter anymore. The motto does. In the words of Laney J. and Jenny B., the original RPC girls:

"Always Faster isn't just about skiing. Bruce wanted us to be faster, but also better, stronger, smarter, happier—always striving to be our best. It's a motto for life now. We're so grateful for everything he provided, and we'll never fill the space in our hearts that was left for him."
